December 2026
As part of a Technion-led workshop at the Chemical Engineering Faculty, we were honoured to host a delegation of chemistry teachers from across Israel to learn about novel methods of education and scientific developments. During their visit to our laboratory, we demonstrated the transformative potential of automated liquid handling robots in a pedagogical setting, showcasing how these tools can bridge the gap between complex research and classroom learning.
August/September 2026
We developed an Online Summer Course Programme in Nanotechnology hosted by the Technion and powered by Prof. Avi Schroeder’s Laboratory. This program focused on the intersection of robotics and nanomedicine synthesis, providing hands-on training in automated liquid handling and the lipid nanoparticle (LNP) pipeline, from synthesis to cellular application. Through remote practical experiments and the use of AI-based tools, participants gained critical research experience in project management and international team collaboration, ultimately learning how to "digitize" complex laboratory workflows. Due to an overwhelming amount of applications, we repeated the course by organising a September 2026 cohort to accommodate additional dedicated candidates.
