Mixed Standalone Workshop
Description
Robiochemistry Workshop is a standalone remote class designed for academic institutions to teach students of mixed academic levels. The workshop teaches experimental design, operation of an automated liquid handler and "digitalization" of experiments from bench to User Interface.
Learning Outcomes
Automated Liquid Handler Training – Learn to use the Liquid Handling Robot and “digitize” hands-on experiments through the User Interface
Innovative Learning Through Practice - Conceptualize, design, and execute experiments using cutting-edge devices
Research Experience and Critical Thinking - Develop the mindset of a researcher to tackle real-world challenges in science and technology
Teamwork and Project Management - Collaborate in teams to improve technical and interpersonal skills while managing projects centered on nanotechnology
Class Details and Requirements
The course is free of charge for all selected participants
This workshop will accommodate 15-20 participants
Participants will work in clusters of 4-5 students per group with laptops
Commitment of 2–4 hours, depending on group size and additional content
Participants are expected to have a good understanding of the English language
If the lesson is held inside a classroom, a digital screen may be required
